If you watched the Olympics, you probably saw the 16153 Genova native and bronze medal Olympian, O'shae Jones! She is the third woman in the US to bring home a bronze medal in boxing. We are so proud of her accomplishment and are proud to share the Glass City with her.

Mark your calendars, as there will be a parade for O'shae Jones on Saturday, August 21st. The parade will kick off at 2:30 at Collingwood Blvd and Dorr street and later, festivities are to take place at Savage Park until 6:30 pm.

What is school spirit wear?

Spirit wear is any item that is printed with the name of a school or organization that is meant to promote pride or unity. The most common spirit wear programs that we run are for schools and sports teams but they are common for non-profits and businesses, as well. 

Spirit wear items can range from t-shirts to sweatshirts to sweatpants to hats to jackets and more. Basically, if there is interest in an item and we can print or embroider it, then it can be a part of the program.

Most of the spirit wear we print is for local 16153 Genova schools and sports teams. However, it's not uncommon for us to make clothing and other items for schools located throughout the country..

We were able to help local organizations sell 13,500 shirts with this initiative. The support from the local community was tremendous and we were honored that we could help so many local businesses during such a difficult time.

Face masks are a reality in our daily lives. If you're anything like us you've quickly realized that you can never find your mask when you need it and one just isn't enough.

Over the last few weeks you can tell that they have become much more common and people are becoming more comfortable wearing them. This week Governor DeWine mandated face masks in all public areas in the state of Ohio. They help keep us and others safe and prevent the spread of disease.

The children get a police escort to a Meijer store where they do their shopping. It’s an opportunity to buy gifts for their family, but also to meet police officers on a personal level and build a positive relationship with them.

We have gotten to know this program because it is run by Zach Stewart, an old friend and partner of ours at CGS. For the last handful of  years, we've been printing hoodies for all of the children involved in the program. It's one of very few jobs that we actively look forward to each year. We've always taken pride in our job but it becomes fulfilling when we work with organizations like Feet on the Street and programs like 12 Kids of Christmas.
